As someone who transports hazardous materials, you’re required to take a United States Department of Transportation (DOT) training course as well as an Entry Level Driver Training course in order to get your hazmat endorsement H or X on your license.
Our 49 CFR DOT Hazmat Employee/Entry Level Driver Training training course will allow you to familiarize yourself with the concepts and procedures you need to promote a safe work environment. During training, you’ll learn about general awareness, safety procedures and security training for hazardous materials specific to your occupation.
You must complete DOT training every three years to ensure you utilize the safest practices. This course will fulfill that requirement. If you are renewing your certification, you should plan to finish this course before your current certificate expires. Upon completing your training with an 80% or higher you will receive a certification. This certification will also be uploaded to the DMV’s portal by the end of the second business day. You can then apply for your hazmat endorsement.

If you select the specific types of packaging for the products you ship, then you need our packaging course #1205. We have all the training you need to become certified in your industry.
Students who take this course work in a variety of industries across the country. Here’s what one of our students had to say about our training:
“I was very pleased with the interactive course format and the virtual instructor that was very helpful. Each portion was explained in detail and I liked that I could come and go from the course on my own time. The final exam was multiple choice so it wasn’t too difficult and had no problems at the DMV with them accessing my certificate which is always a plus. I would recommend this course to other companies requiring DOT ELDT Hazmat training for their staff.” – CA
