Yes, this course is one where you can choose to add to your base of knowledge and get some relevant information for your work or interests. It is not the same old material repeated in a different way. It has all of what is required for most people who need the annual Refresher course AND it also provides that extra focus in the area of Pathogens – both bloodborne and airborne. Take the course and receive a dual certificate!

WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS CLASS?

Everyone who has taken the 24- or 40- hour OSHA Hazwoper course is required to take an eight-hour annual refresher course. Our course has been designed for workers in the wastewater treatment field. This self-paced program is full of interactive exercises and activities to help you meet that OSHA requirement, with the ability to take it as time permits.

Additionally, because this course has the emphasis on hazards associated with exposure to Pathogens, those whose work involves potential occupational exposure to these types of materials receive the most up-to-date and relevant materials related to these hazards. If you are someone who works around blood in the laboratory, as a provider of Emergency Medical Care, may cleanup areas with blood or hazards associated with it such as contaminated needles, or in any aspect of providing health care, this course is for you!
